Symptoms:

Many types of fevers:

- chronic fever: A fever that lasts more than three weeks
- Intermittent fever: A fever that alternates between normal and elevated body temperatures.
- Remittent fever: A fever that fluctuates throughout the day, but never return to a normal temperature.
Tips on fever:
- Drink morre of water.
- Wear loose clothing.
- Use the correct dosage of medication.
- Wipe with warm water.
- Give more vitamin C
Things to avoid when caring for a child with a fever at home:
- Absolutely do not arbitrarily use fever-reducing drugs for children without the consent of a doctor, especially drugs containing Aspirin;
- Do not apply cold compresses or ice packs to reduce fever for children;
- Do not keep children warm when they have a high fever;
- Monitor the child’s temperature and regularly re-measure the child’s body temperature;
- Do not arbitrarily combine fever-reducing drugs together;
- Do not let children stay in too closed a space;
- Monitor and record the child’s symptoms to provide to the doctor (if necessary);
- Do not arbitrarily use folk remedies that have no scientific basis for children when they have a fever;
